The Megabass X-55 Great Hunting is a, finesse sized, 55mm, 3.4grams, sinking, minnow fishing lure that is designed for sub-surface action.

The lure comes equipped with a rounded edged bib (1 cm length) that will make the lure dive no more than 50cm. The rounded edge causes the X-55 Great Hunting minnow to roll and wobble as it is being retrieved.

To accentuate the rolling and wobbling action, Megabass has included a single weighted bearing that is located in a housing with free play between the belly treble and the lure’s gill plates. The movement of the bearing in it housing causes the X-55 Great Hunting to roll further over to expose its flanks to reflect light to catch the attention of its intended prey to elicit a reaction strike.

As a finesse sinking lure, the Megabass X-55 Great Hunting minnow is well suited for working through the water column on a slow-crank-twitch-pause-twitch retrieve pattern.
